Two National Campaigns to Grow Fun & Fan Membership

Campaign 1: Fun & Fan Club Race

This campaign encourages affiliated clubs to promote Fun & Fan membership within their communities, with a club-based incentive.

 Overview

  • Audience: Affiliated clubs and their communities
  • Objective: Drive Fun & Fan sign-ups at a club level
  • Incentive: One year’s supply of 3-star balls awarded to the club with the most Fun & Fan registrations by February 14

How you can help
We’d appreciate your support in circulating this campaign to clubs within your State/Territory and encouraging them to share their sign-up link with non-members who play table tennis and are connected to their club.

Campaign 2: Lapsed Member Reactivation – Fun & Fan Conversion

This campaign targets individuals who held a 2024 membership but did not renew for 2025, offering them a free way to stay connected to the sport.

 Overview

  • Audience: 2024 members who did not renew in 2025
  • Objective: Convert lapsed paid members into Fun & Fan members
  • Incentive: Entry into a draw to win a $500 Bunnings gift voucher

As you all know, through the recent membership model work, Fun & Fan membership plays an important role in:

  • Accurately reporting participation to the Australian Sports Commission
  • Demonstrating the true reach of table tennis beyond formal competition
  • Strengthening future funding, investment, and growth opportunities
  • Keeping people connected to the sport in ways that suit them

 

Both campaigns are running through to February 14, and we’ll share outcomes and learnings with the network once complete.
