The Sydney Olympic Park
Authority maintains responsibility for managing all public spaces between the
venues, car parks as well as the vast Millennium Parklands, also incorporating
Bicentennial Park.
Located just
17km from Sydney’s CBD and 8km from Parramatta, Sydney Olympic Park is truly
the new heart of Sydney.

association’s relocation to the Indoor Sports Halls on Grand Parade, Sydney

Ferry Services
Ferry services currently
operate from Circular Quay and Darling Harbour.
Patrons are met at the Homebush Bay Wharf by a State Transit bus, which
will drop patrons to the heart of the site.
The
following provides a summary of current ferry services available:

Coaches and Mini Buses:
Drop off of passengers for the Indoor Sports Halls
should occur on the Olympic Boulevard at the Northern Bus Terminal (immediately
beside the Sports Halls) accessible from Kevin Coombs Avenue.
Parking for coaches and mini buses can be undertaken in Coach Pod B
(shown on attached plan).
A coach parking booking form is also
enclosed, please complete the form for every bus and return to the Authority.
It is important to book your buses into the parking areas to avoid
conflict with coach parking for other events held at the numerous venues at
Sydney Olympic Park.

Vehicle Parking:
A limited amount of free “on-street” parking
up to 2 hours is available on Grand Parade and Showground Road near the Sports
Halls. Alternately parking is
available in the multi storey car Park P1, for $2.00 per hour up to a maximum of
$10 for the day.
Vehicular parking is not allowed on the
paved pedestrian area in front of the Indoor Sports Halls.
Sydney Olympic Park is a restricted
parking precinct and infringements of $63 or more apply for parking in
unauthorised areas.
During major events restricted local area parking is widely advertised and street signs indicate that special arrangements are in force, this includes Grand Parade and Showground Road.
